Pride of the Balkan

7 DAYS TOUR

Pride of the Balkan

Price: from 1800$

Difficulty:
Location: Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro
Days: 7 days tour

Seven day guided motorcycle tour over the wild wild Balkan will take you on a journey over South Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Dinaric mountains stand proud, the same as we will be as we take them for ourselves. You will feel like the nature around is a living and breathing being. We will take you on a glide through the Neretva canyon and mountain giants all the way to the lakes of mirror. The water there is so perfectly clear, that you’ll be able to count the stars in the reflection.

At our wheels will be the wilderness as stone blends into the forest. And then some, the forest becomes stone again, until the golden Adriatic beaches appear before your eyes. Good thing you will be on your motorcycle because this beauty can make your knees weak.

It’ safe to say lunch breaks will be much needed. Locals here know what kind of food the riders need. Hot, steamy and delicious homemade taste, that gives enough energy for soaking all of the wonders in while riding on two wheels.

Highlights: Diocletians palace, St. Domnius cathedral, Walls of Ston, Walls of Dubrovnik, Nature park Lovćen, Tara canyon, Bridge of Mostar, Neretva river, Nature park Blidinje, Nature park Kravice

  • Split – Ston – Dubrovnik

From our meeting point in Split we take a ride to the southernmost region of Croatia. On our way we’ll ride on the road stolen from the mountain, with the Adriatic on our right. Meet the walls of Ston, longest fortification walls after the Wall of China! We end our day in style, that can only mean one thing – Dubrovnik is on the horizon.
  • Dubrovnik – Lovćen – Kotor

On the second day we cross to the Montenegro, a small country full of great beauties. First we visit the mountainous Nature park Lovćen, then ride down to the Kotor, small town protected by mountains and linked by the sea.
  • Kotor – Podgorica – Kolašin

To the capital we go! Podgorica, the centre of Montenegro awaits, with its glorious architecture and history. As the day progresses, we move away from the city rumble into the mountains again – Kolašin, the place with both Mediterranean and continental climate!
  • Kolašin – Tara canyon – Žabljak

This is the day we conquer the road of the river Tara! We’ll follow the trails along the luscious green forests that split by the Tara river, all the way to Žabljak. Fun fact, Žabljak got its name by the frogs (žaba=frog) which signal the arrival of the spring with their ribbit!
  • Žabljak – Mostar

Fifth day, third country! We enter Bosnia and Herzegovina, all the way to the “bridge city” – Mostar. Blend of cultures is visible in architecture, as well as in the cuisine. All that is left is to taste it!
  • Mostar – Blidinje – Rama – Mostar

Get breakfast and get some coffee in you, ‘cause it’s time to hit the road to the favourite winter destination for many people – Blidinje. To say the vistas here are breathtaking is an understatement, trust us. Good thing there is a plenty of fresh air on our road, since things only get better as we go to Rama, to witness the meeting of rivers, before we go back to our Bosnian centre, Mostar.
  • Mostar – Kravica – Split

Hope you woke up ready for our trip back to Split. There is just one more thing we want to show you. The beautiful Kravica waterfalls. If you feel like swimming under the waterfalls – feel free to do so! We part our ways in Split, but richer for a true Balkan experience!
